Vicki Prais is an award-winning international human rights lawyer, consultant, academic, and coach with 28 years of experience across the UN, Council of Europe, British Government, NGOs, and academia. Specializing in prisoners’ rights, prison reform, and the prohibition of torture, she has worked in over a dozen countries and advised British diplomats on detention-related human rights issues.
Vicki has authored and contributed to major publications on criminal justice and detention and regularly writes for both academic and general audiences. As a dedicated career coach, she has supported over 200 professionals in securing roles in the human rights sector. Vicki is also a TEDx speaker and Visiting Professor of Human Rights.
